Rovelynt stores saved pages, notes, screenshots, annotations, categories, tags, and export data in your browser's local storage. Rovelynt does not upload your research library, screenshots, page text, or notes to our servers.
When you check subscription status or purchase Pro, Rovelynt sends a pseudonymous installation identifier and the minimum product and license information needed to provide Pro access. When account recovery is available, the extension creates a locally hashed identifier from the signed-in Google account email; the raw email address is not sent by the extension. The authorization service may store license status, subscription reference, expiry date, and cancellation status. It does not receive your saved research content.
Rovelynt may send limited pseudonymous feature-usage events to Rovelynt services. These events can include actions such as opening the panel, saving research, capturing a screenshot, enabling or checking a monitor, opening a workflow, exporting data, and entering or redeeming a Pro code. Events may include an anonymous installation or device identifier, extension version, browser locale, and license state.
These events are used for product improvement, reliability, support, and abuse prevention. They do not include saved page text, screenshots, notes, annotations, categories, tags, exports, or the contents of your research library. Rovelynt does not sell this information or use it for advertising.
Rovelynt may store license status, device identifiers, and redemption code backup data in Chrome storage to restore Pro access across browser sessions or reinstallations. This recovery data is used only for license access and does not include your saved pages, screenshots, notes, annotations, categories, tags, exports, or research library content.
Payments and subscription management are provided by Creem, the merchant of record. Rovelynt does not collect or store payment card information. Creem processes purchaser information under its own privacy notice.
Rovelynt accesses the current page only to provide user-requested clipping, screenshot capture, annotation, research organization, and monitoring features. Browser storage is used to keep your local library, monitor history, and settings. Scheduled monitoring runs locally when Chrome is available and connected to the internet. Rovelynt does not sell research data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it.
